About Us: In 2004, my wife Diana and I began selling Orchids out of our small utility room off the back of our house. We displayed orchids off the top of our washer and dryer and yes, it was alittle embarrassing but we wanted to test the market before embarking on building a larger greenhouse that would allow customers to stroll through.

In the beginning, I was growing different varieties of orchids out of an old greenhouse previously utilized for raising tobacco plants. At the time the greenhouse was located far from my home making it impossible for customers to visit. When our first orchids began blooming we had a small sign "planted" in our front yard. Living next to a busy hi-way folks began to stop in and ask "where's the greenhouse? Some commented it looked quite suspicious having orchids for sell, in one's home utility room, with no greenhouse in sight, so I decided to tear down the old greenhouse and construct another located behind our home; the advantages of living in the country :) Our new 30' x 96' greenhouse is now in sight of the hi-way for customers to stop in stroll the aisles while selecting their own orchid. In January 2005, we officially opened for business. I grow the orchids, which started as a hobby, being I have a full time day job, and Diana does the selling part. The sales from our orchids allow me to continue the hobby by paying for the expenses of operating a large backyard greenhouse, which can be quite expensive!
